Fort Mill - Mr. Grant Allen Ownes, 71, of 1911 Tracy Court, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Zoar United Methodis Church with the Rev. Marilyn Smith officiating. The family will recieve friends 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.

A native of Rutherfordton, NC, Mr. Ownes was a son of the late Helon and Callie Long Owens. He was a retired Auto Mechanic. A member of Zoar United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed carpentry and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Osborne Owens; five sons, Andy Owens, Curtis Owens, Daniel Owens, Tim Dalls and Tony Dallas; two daughters, Donna Borchert and Michelle Caudle; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
