York – Mrs. Zoe Bridges Scism, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Agape Senior, Rock Hill.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Eastview Baptist Church with Revs Rick Martin and Andrew Brafford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.

Born in Cleveland County, N.C., Mrs. Scism was a daughter of the late William Thomas Crawford Bridges and Lillian Blanche Huffstetler Bridges. She was the widow of C.B. Scism.

She is survived by her children, JoAnne Lawson and her husband, Steve, Joyce McCarter and her husband (Richard), Bill Scism and his wife, Bonnie, Robin Scism and Linda Scism all of York, Judy Barton and her husband Joe, and Annette Boyd all of Rock Hill; three brothers, Hugh Bridges of Fort Mill, Troy Bridges and his wife, Polly of Spartanburg and Bob Bridges and his wife, Bonnie of Charlotte, NC; and one sister, Betty Howell of Kings Mountain, NC; 36 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastview Baptist Church Awana Program or the church building fund, 1430 Gordon Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
