Knowing that your mother is with our Lord an Saviour will bring you much comfort in this time of mourning and days ahead. Jesus promised to be there when we slip from this world into the next. He said, “Where I am [heaven], there you may be also” (John 14:3). Glenda Locke February 13, 2012 10:04 AM		To the entire Gaston Family and My Mother ,Nancy Gaston Locke , I am very sorry that Aunt Gertrude has left us . As my Mother said " I am selfish , I am not ready to give her up " , but I take comfort in knowing that she has gone to heaven with the angels..... to be with Frank , and Porter . She was the sweetest woman I have ever known , kind and giving . The Lord blessed us here on earth by allowing us to have her as long as we did. It was time for him to call her home . Reunions just won't be the same without her . I will always remember seeing her and my Mother huddled together like school girls , holding hands. They had a real love for one another . Or , when my Mother was in the hospital.... Aunt Gertrude sitting by my Mothers bedside holding my Mothers hand , just sitting with her , stroking her, loving her. These are a few of my memories..... Her love . She will be missed.
