York, SC – Mrs. Betty Jo Collins Reed, 72, has peacefully left this world for a greater life at home with Jesus! Betty passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home.

The family will receive friends at 5:00 pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel, 700 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29730, and a memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm with the Rev. Ron Fite officiating. Due to the ongoing COVID 19 masks will be required for the service.

Betty was brought into this world on January 24, 1949 so we celebrate her new life in the Kingdom of God and Heaven, where she was healed and became whole again and full of joy. Betty will be remembered as a fun-loving, gentle soul who was always willing to help others.

Betty was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by the following people, her father, Robert Lee Collins, Jr.; her mother, Maggie Harvell Collins; her husband, Mark Allen Reed; her sisters, Amy Lou Roseberry and Faye Ellen Collins, all who preceded Betty in God’s Eternal Glory.

Betty is survived by her son, Jerry Lee Walker and his fiancée, Loretta Shaw; a daughter, Rebecca Diane Rogers and her significant other, Joseph Zoller; two granddaughters, Ashley Nalley, and her husband, Joseph, and Autumn Lakin, and her husband, Mark; two, grandsons, Jerry (Bubba) Rogers, and his wife, Amanda, and Dakota Rogers, 11 great-grandsons, Cameron Catoe, Parker Nalley, Ashton Nalley, Holden Nalley, Kaden Whitesides, Luke Whitesides, Chase Burdick, M.J. Lakin, Daniel Rogers, Wyatt Rogers, and Carson Rogers; 4 great-granddaughters, Sarah Lakin, Alayna Rogers, Katelynn Rogers, and Sophia Rogers; a sister, Peggy Walker and her husband, Johnny; a brother, Thomas Lee Collins; special niece and nephew, Jo Ann and Richard Rowland; best friend, John Wilson; and a honorary Nephew, Jeff Blythe.
