Ernest Daniel Rogers, III (Dan) of Richburg, SC, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020.

Dan served his country in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He also did construction before and after his time spent in the Navy.

Dan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chester, SC and was also a VFW Member. He was an avid golfer, loved growing vegetables in his garden and raising all of his farm animals. Dan was a firm believer in hard work.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jane Blue and Ernest Daniel Rogers, Jr.; his son, Keith Rogers; step-son, Richard Peacock and his brothers, Alvin and Timmy Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Rogers; son, Daniel Rogers; daughters, Kathy Brown and Kris Carpenter; steps-son, Mike Peacock; 7 brothers; 3 sisters; 15 Grandchildren (3 raised as their own, Autumn, Jerry and Dakota) and 22 Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the home of Dan and Pat Rogers.
