Evelyn Webb

Evelyn Wilburn Webb, 72, of Rock Hill, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center surrounded by her loving children.  She was born March 3, 1949 in Scaley Mountain, NC, daughter of the late Jack and Octa Wilburn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lemmie Webb, Jr; sisters, Rachel Modeen Wilburn, Dorothy Webb, and Louise Smith; brothers, H. L. Wilburn, Lee Ray Wilburn, Guy Wilburn, Earl Wilburn, and J. L. Wilburn.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lesslie Church of God.  Most important to her was her family and “adopted” family.  Everybody called her Momma Webb.  She always had encouraging words of wisdom to share and loved hugs from everybody. She will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her son, Morris Wayne Webb and wife, Dawn of Rock Hill, SC; her daughter, Marcia Ann Locklair and husband, James of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Michael Anthony Webb, Rebekah Horne and husband, Lee, Jeremy Locklair and wife, Brittany, Noah Locklair and Allie Carter; great-grandchildren, Mallory Horne, Cameron and Emma Brooks; her brothers Cecil Wilburn and Stanley Wilburn; her sisters, Loucille Dryman, Melba Dryman and Elba Dryman; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lesslie Church of God, 2357 S Anderson Road, Rock Hill with Pastor Scott Demers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until time for the service to start.
