Gail Beatrice Blue White

Rock Hill – Mrs. Gail Beatrice Blue White, 76, of 617 Tomahawk Ridge, died Friday, December 2, 2022, at her home.

The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward.  The funeral will follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mrs. White was a daughter of the late Guy Larson Blue and Eva George Blue.  Gail was the first lady to become Mrs. Catawba.  She worked in several different careers including Cosmetologist, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), an assistant archaeologist for the Catawba Tribe, a transit driver, employed with Cannon Millis and as a Walmart Greeter.  She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She will be remembered as a lady who always made her family her number one priority.   

Surviving are three children, Donald Kennington, Kenneth Dunnells and Marsha Floyd (Tim Hughey); a sister, Jeanette Largo; a sister-in-law, Libby Blue; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 7 nieces; and 8 nephews.  She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Dunnells; brothers, Chief Gilbert Blue and Lesslie Blue; and sisters, Sylvia Caudle and Toy Murrey.
