Gregory Michael Hunter

Rock Hill – Gregory Michael Hunter, 31, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Prism Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, SC.   

The family will receive friends 2:00 pm Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Whitesell Funeral Home and a funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Jane Summey-Mullennix officiating.  Burial will be private. 

Mr. Hunter was a son of Ginger Duncan and the late David Michael Hunter.  He was employed by Brundage Bone Concrete Pumping of Rock Hill.  He loved to fish and tinker in his shop.  He enjoyed four wheeling and raising all types of animals. 

Surviving are his wife, Brittany Yarbrough Hunter; two sons, Avery and Briggs Hunter; two daughters, Shyan and Adaleigh Hunter; two sisters, Connie Copeland and Brittany Duncan; a nephew, Christian Copeland; his in-laws, Mike and Kim Yarbrough and Eddie and Diane Murphy; two brother-in-laws, Matthew and Peyton Yarbrough, a sister-in-law, Madey Gleaves; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.   He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Melita and Bill Rollings and Hank Mungo; and paternal grandparents, Betty and David Hunter. 

Memorial donations my be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. 

Whitesell Funeral Home is serving the family.
