James (Jimmy) Crawford Ferrell, age 74, of Rock Hill, S.C., passed away peacefully in his home on April 14, 2020.

Jimmy was born on June 7, 1945 to the late James Lowery and Lucile Crawford Ferrell. He was of Baptist faith, serving in the US Air Force and worked in the auto body and paint industry. Jimmy loved restoring classic cars and trucks. He enjoyed hosting parties at his home for many friends and was a member of American Legion Post #34, Masonic Lodge Corinthian 416, and member of the Hejaz Shrine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Roberts Ferrell and his niece Stephanie Nunn.

Jimmy is survived by his step-daughter, Anna Timothy; one brother, Edward Ferrell & wife Vivian; two sisters, Mary Herring & husband Eddie and Kathy Nunn & husband Mike; 2 nephews and 3 nieces.

There will be no service due to the COVID-19 virus and if a memorial service is planned at a later date his friends will be notified.
