Rock Hill – Mr. L.C. Eddington, 81, reunited with his wife, Virginia Eddington, on Friday, February 7, 2020.
The family will receive friends 2 pm Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Whitesell Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm. Following the services friends are invited to join the family at the home of his daughter, Crystal, 286 Southside Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29730.
A native of White Pine, TN, Mr. Eddington was a son of the late Dotsy Eddington and Blanche Parker Eddington. Mr. Eddington was an outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, playing golf, corn hole, playing horseshoes and most of all spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing pool. Some of his favorite game shows was “Let’s Make a Deal” and “Price is Right.” He also loved watching old western movies and TV shows. He will be remembered as an awesome gentleman who would do anything for people who needed him.
Surviving are five children, Teresa Eddington of Rock Hill, Tina Pendleton (BJ Poag) of Myrtle Beach, Terry Latham (Doug Freeman) of Great Falls, Tony Eddington (Angela) of McConnells, and Crystal Stauffer (Derek) of Rock Hill; two brothers, Frank Eddington (Nancy) of Newport, TN and Harrison Eddington (Jennie) of York; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, and one great-grandchild.
