Phyllis "Phil" Ray Usher

Phyllis “Phil” Ray Usher, 64, of Rock Hill passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Phyllis was born on April 12, 1956 to the late Davis Calvin Ray, Jr. and Jo Ann “Joan” Stewart.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Rock Hill.  Phyllis will always be remembered as the monarch of her family; she lived to take care of others and support her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Odell Usher, children; Amanda Charlene Kitts, Anna Marie Triester and son-in-law John Triester and Heather Blanchette.  Also surviving are three grandchildren who loved Nana; Jacob Dylan Kitts, JoAnna Triester, and Taelynn Grace Usher Blanchette; one brother Douglas Ray and one sister Jeannie Elizabeth Burleson and brother-on-law Barry Burleson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, Rock Hill with the Pastor Barry Burleson officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
