Rebecca Ann De Santiago

Rebecca Ann De Santiago passed away at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte, NC on September 4, 2023.

Rebecca was loving and caring person.  She was family oriented.  When you were feeling down, she was always there with a caring hand or a funny comment to make you feel better and bring a smile to your face.  She loved playing music loud and singing to it while she drove to work or sitting at home lying on the couch and watching a movie with her son DJ.

Rebecca loved blue butterflies. She believed that they would bring her good luck, joy, and happiness.  Every time she would see one, she would make a wish on the butterfly.  The blue butterfly always brought a smile to her face and joy to her heart. 

She was preceded in death by her Father Ronnie Respess.  She is survived by her Mother Marilyn Louise Respess, her brother John Dively, her children Melanie De Santiago, Alexandra De Santiago, Iain Starnes, Alaina Turpin, and Dominick Olsen.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Yazmin Ortiz and Ada Jane Pennell and by her fiancé Timothy Brauninger. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place in Fort Mill on Saturday September 9, 2023 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends following the service at Kinetic Taekwondo, 3150 US 21 Unit 104 Fort Mill, SC 29715.
