Fort Mill, SC – Rev. Austin Dellis “Bob” White, Sr., 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at his home.

Due to COVID 19, a memorial service will be held at a future date.

A native of Hallsboro, NC, Rev. White was a son of the late Ed C. White and Bell Taylor White. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Kenette Stables White; a son Austin Dellis White, Jr.; a daughter, Wendy G. Bing; three grandchildren, Samuel Austin White, Julianna White and Garrison White; two brothers, James White and his wife Agnes and Edison White; and a sister Gracie Stegall.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence Nivens, Richard Nivens and Junior Nivens; a sister, Louise Cartrette, and a nephew, Michael Stegall.

Bob spent his earlier years as a Chaplain’s Assistant in the National Guard and graduated from the SCNG NCO Academy in 1975.

He served God vehemently.  He met no stranger and took every opportunity to witness and teach God’s word to others. He served as pastor of Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rock Hill, SC and McConnell’s First Baptist Church, McConnell’s, SC.  During his membership at Christ the King Church, he was part of a mission trip to South Africa in 2005.

Bob was as active member of the upper Palmetto Chapter of Hunters Helping Kids, York, SC.  Bob will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his lake and took pride in landscaping his property. During his retirement years, he owned and operated a landscaping business, Son Rise Nursery.

He constantly blessed people through unconditional giving, of his time, prayers, and funds when others were in need.  Bob loved contemporary music and spending weekend retreats every spring at Edisto Beach with special friends.  There were always more than family members at the table on Thanksgiving Day.

He loved and served God, his family, his country and ALL people.
