Richard Darrell Ratterree

Rock Hill - Richard Darrell Ratterree, “Rat, Ricky or Rick”, 66, of Rock Hill passed away on December 21, 2020 in his home in Rock Hill, SC. 
 

Services will be held at Red Path Baptist Church on 814 Teaberry Lane, with the Pastor Eddie Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 2,2021 following a small family gathering. 

Rick retired from PPM. Bowaters working as a painter for many years and enjoyed playing horseshoes and going fishing. He will be fondly remembered as a Devoted loving father and Grandpa. He loved his family.

Surviving are his 3 daughters, Tonya Michelle Gwin of Rock Hill, SC, Christy Gaile Ratterree of Matthews, NC and Audrey Reola Ratterree of Rock Hill, SC. He was a grandpa to 9 Grandchildren, Kayla Gwin of Rock Hill, SC, Paul Gwin of Fort Lawn, SC, Richard “Allan” Turner of Rock Hill, Jonathan Turner of Rock Hill, SC, Timothy Turner of Matthews, NC, Nicole Ratterree of Chester, SC, Cameron Williams of Rock Hill, SC, and Colby Grobusky of Rock Hill, SC and a Great Grandpa to 4 children.  Surviving sibling is his twin sister, Vickie R. Pontus of Rock Hill; He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Tommy Ratterree, Ronnie Ratterree, and William R. "Billy" Ratterree, and one sister, Phyllis D. Bigham all from Rock Hill and his Grand-daughter Katherine Boone.

Ricky Ratterree was a son of the late William Everett Ratterree and Isabell Giles Ratterree.
