Teresa Kay Scott

Teresa Kay Scott passed away suddenly May 6, 2020 at Atrium Health in Pineville, NC. 

Born January 17, 1973, she is the daughter of Marvin Carroll White and the late Diana Ellen Derreberry. 

She is survived by her fiance' David Smith; Davids daughter, Lakyn Platt and Karlee Smith; 2 sisters Vanessa Gail Lewis (Eddie), Tammy Dailey (Eric Hornsby); nephews, Michael Gary Wade, Jr., (Justin Jones, Kenneth Lee Wade (Nichole), Christopher Adam Lewis (Candice), Eddie Scott Lewis, Gavin Adam Lewis; Nieces Haley Alexis Wade, Haven Cheeyne Wade, Felicia Chapman, Kayla Dailey (Hutch), Little Hutch, Melissa Morgan Maggie Morgan; 2 sons Austin Scott, Westytn Scott; 2 daughters Thelma Diane Franklin, Toni Kay Franklin; and numerous grandchildren. 

Teresa was one of a kind, she enjoyed dancing, was a published author, loved get togethers, flowers, gardening, the mountains, and her Lord and Savior.   She will be remembered as a sunny, outgoing person who loved people and her friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 3;00pm in the home of Vanessa and Eddie Lewis.
