Viola Collins Linder

Fort Mill – Mrs. Viola Collins Linder, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at her home. 

The family will receive friends 2:00 pm, Friday, June 17, 2022, at Glenrock Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Gene Flack officiating.  Burial will be in Unity Cemetery.

A native of Fort Mill, SC, Mrs. Linder was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Collins and Nannie Lipe Collins.  She was retired from Springs Industries.  She was a member of Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene and later in life she became a member of Glenrock Baptist Church.  She will be remembered as a lady who enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden, feeding and watch her birds, canning, and working her puzzles.  One of her favorite things to do each evening was to read her Bible. 

Surviving are her three sisters, Helen Nichols, Mary Ann Hancock, and Lucille Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Linder; and two daughters, Judy Plyler and Barbara McKeithen.
