Amber Johnson

Rock Hill - Ms. Amber Johnson, 37, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Saturday March 14, 2020.

Amber was a citizen of the Catawba Indian Nation. She was born on November 6, 1982 and was the daughter of Marty Johnson, and Letha Skar.

Amber enjoyed making arts, crafts, hair bows, and jewelry. She loved lying out by the pool with her family and friends. She always talked about dealing blackjack at the casino up in Indiana and how much she enjoyed it. Amber was always a good friend to anybody and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Amber just lived life to the fullest.

Amber leaves behind two beautiful daughters who she loved dearly, Julia Simpson and Aurora Marengo. Also surviving are her brother, Justin Johnson (Sabrina), her sister, Santana Johnson, and her brother, Tyler Skar. She also leaves behind a grandmother, Betty Johnson and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Amber’s life will be held on Saturday March 28, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Whitesell Funeral Home, 975 Riverview Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Due to the orders from the governor we need to limit people to 20 in the building at any time.
